The products of Multi-CB do not contain decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE).
Multi-CB DecaBDE position statement
As of 1-July-2008, the flame retardant decabromodiphenylether (DecaBDE) is no longer permitted in new electrical and electronic devices within the European Union.
Because of DecaBDE’s environmentally damaging properties, Multi-CB and a series of other companies have already eliminated the use of materials that contain DecaBDE, preferring less damaging flame retardants.
