The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which is the counterpart of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), issued the final Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) rules on Jan. 6, 2021.
Multi-CB is committed to environmental and health safety. In this context, we strictly observe the control and restriction of chemicals as required by laws and authorities.
We hereby declare that all printed circuit boards manufactured and supplied by Multi-CB comply with the applicable requirements of the United States Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) in its entirety. This encompasses specifically, but is not limited to: The restrictions on certain chemical substances under Section 6, the regulations concerning new chemicals and significant new uses under Section 5 and the relevant reporting and recordkeeping obligations under Section 8.
We confirm that we do not use substances in violation of TSCA restrictions and that our supply chain has adhered to the necessary procedures for new chemicals.
Compliance with TSCA Section 6(h) – PBT Substances
We specifically confirm that our products are in compliance with the regulations for Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) chemicals as per TSCA Section 6(h). Based on information from our supply chain and to the best of our knowledge, the following substances are not intentionally used and are not present in our products above any applicable regulatory threshold:

Compliance with Other TSCA Section 6 Restrictions
We further declare awareness of and adherence to restrictions on other substance groups regulated under TSCA Section 6. For the following substances, either their use is not applicable to our printed circuit board manufacturing, or we have obtained assurances from our supply chain that they are not intentionally incorporated:
• Asbestos
• Lead, when used in paint
• Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)
• Dioxins
• Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs, ozone depleting substances)
• Metallic mercury, when used in consumer products
• Formaldehyde, when used in composite wood products
• Nitrites, when used in certain cutting fluids
• Hexavalent chromium compounds, when used in water treatment
