The IPC, Association Connecting Electronics Industries, is an international trade association for the circuit industry. This includes CAD designers, PCB manufacturers, component manufacturers, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers. Multi-CB is an IPC member.
Founded in 1957 as the Institute for Printed Circuits Boards, the IPC now has over 3400 members. The work of the organisation includes the development of industry standards, training and market research.
For us, the specifications for base material (IPC-4101) and the guidelines for bare printed circuit boards (IPC-A-600, IPC-6010 Series) are particularly important.
