Contour milling

Description:

Contour milling, like milling, is a mechanical processing of printed circuit boards with a rotating cutting tool. Contour milling is used to define the contour of the PCB at the very end of the manufacturing process. This separates the individual PCBs from the production panel.

The standard tool for contour milling is 2.0mm or 2.4mm and allows maximum feed rate. This saves time and costs and has a direct impact on the price of printed circuit boards.
