TSCA - Toxic Substances Control Act

PCB TSCA compliant

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which is the counterpart of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), issued the final Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Section 6 (h) rules on Jan. 6, 2021.

These adopted rules to reduce exposure to the PBT chemicals listed below, which became legally effective as early as March 2021.

In europe, two of the five chemicals are already covered by REACH/SVHC or POP (as of June 2021). The other three substances are on the so-called CoRAP list of ECHA (Community Rolling Action Plan). These are very likely to get on the SVHC -list, but are not yet officially listed and therefore have to be actively requested and the conformities obtained / archived.

Multi-CB is committed to environmental and health safety. In this context, we strictly observe the control and restriction of chemicals as required by laws and authorities. To the best of our knowledge, none of the chemicals affected by TSCA are contained in our products.
